Quality and Affordable Color Inkjet Printer, Copier and Scanner that is Easy to Install! The PIXMA MG5220 wireless inkjet photo all-in-one took me about an hour to remove the packing material, install the printer head and ink cartridges, calibrate and set up in both the wired and unwired LAN Wi-Fi operation. Once I started following instructions it was easy.
I tested my word processing program, internet printing, copying and scanning and was really impressed at the quality and ease of printing. Likewise, I used the 4X6 samples of the Photo Paper Plus Gloss II Canon paper to print 3 pictures of my brother and sister recently emailed to me and was surprised at the professional quality of the photo's printed on this printer.
I have purchased numerous inkjet and laser printers over the years and none were easier to install than this product. If you are looking for a quality printer, copier and scanner that is easy to install and affordable, THIS IS IT! Enjoy.

Exceptional Quality! Prior to this, I had an earlier model of the Canon PIXMA. I liked it a great deal, but wow, this one is even better. They sure did improve on what I thought was nearly perfect for me. I love the paper cassette for printing regular paper. My one frustration with most home printers is the open paper tray. Try as I might, I still have trouble with occasional dust and pet fur finding its way into that tray. The paper cassette eliminates that issue for me. When I need to print a photo or other special sized paper, I only have to open up the tray long enough for the job. Then I can close it and keep the dust out. The colors are fantastic, crisp and vibrant. I wasn't too sure about the individual inks at first. My previous PIXMA seemed to go through cartridges like lightning, and I was concerned there would be a repeat experience. So far, the individual inks appear to last longer, perhaps they waste less ink than the combined cartridges.
Scans are nice and clear. It can be a bit slow to warm up, but I can be impatient. In all actuality it's probably only a minute or two at most. The wireless feature works well, my family members are easily able to print from their laptops.
All in all, I'm very pleased with the Canon PIXMA MG5220.
